The biggest way we connect with the world around us is through the hands, the feet and the face. Hands touch everything, feet ground us and the first thing we look at is a person’s face to make eye contact. We use our face for facial expressions, talking, eating. Quite a lot of us clench our jaws or grind our teeth creating tension in the jaw, head and neck. Some have headaches or migraines due to a variety of reasons. Others have had head or face injuries that create scar tissue that may limit movement. Some may have had face surgeries for cosmetic or reconstructive reasons that also create scar tissue.
Through bodywork techniques specifically designed to loosen the muscles of the head and neck and release the different bones in the head, I hope to relieve the tension and pain that can occur with tinnitus, migraines, TMJ, etc.
